The Cleveland Guardians escaped Comerica Park in Detroit with a 5-4 win on Thursday night, sending the series back to Cleveland in a winner-take-all Game 5 set for this weekend.

David Fry played hero for the Guardians, who won their first postseason elimination game since Game 6 of the 1997 World Series. Fry hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the seventh inning and added an insurance run in the top of the ninth inning to help the Guardians win.
