In the 26th season of The voiceShye performed a cover of Five for Fighting's “Superman (It's Not Easy)” because it had a connection to her mother Sheila, who is a real-life superhero. “She was sick for most of my childhood and that kind of gave her hope. She had to undergo open heart surgery and spinal correction. She was in and out of the hospital, but she still made sure I was taken care of, made sure I was taken care of.” When I sing this song, I will pay my respects to her.

Coach Gwen Stefani was the first to press her button, turning around barely two seconds into the blind audition. Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg soon followed suit.

“Your voice is like butter,” Reba said. “It’s just so rich and creamy. I just loved it. Then it was a big surprise to hear you with that power in your voice. I won last season and would love to have you on the winning team Reba.”

“I have to seriously pray for a minute because I haven’t been that excited for an artist so far this season,” Stefani added. “The first few comments were so honest and sincere because God gave you this gift and that's what happens when you have a gift like that. You are the perfect girl for my team! It's like I live for you. Choose me as your coach!”

“I love your voice,” Bublé continued. “You have this wonderful range and all of us as coaches feel like there are things that each of us can bring to the table to help you. However, what we cannot teach you is something you have. And that's what you are.” “Are adorable. I mean, you’re so cute and I’d love to come along on the trip and I’d love for you to pick my team.”

“You were made to sing,” Snoop said. “You are made for whatever comes your way. If you join my team, I would love to help you become who you want to be… I would love to be your coach, your mentor. Whatever.” you need…”

After giving each coach a special rock, Shye decided to join Team Bublé, who were “happily shocked” to land one of the most talented performers so far this season. “There was so much kindness pouring out of her that I was amazed,” he added. “Shye had a really unique and sensual voice and I immediately felt that she had great potential in the music industry. (Reba, Gwen and Snoop) are not just three coaches, these are three iconic, incredibly beautiful people. The fact that everyone would choose me over one of them, that's always a huge, huge ego boost.”
