Weather in Colorado Springs: Sunny and warm on Sunday | Weather

After several days of summer-like temperatures, Colorado Springs residents can expect cooler conditions Sunday, with afternoon temperatures in the low to mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

Sunday is expected to be partly sunny, with high temperatures around 74 degrees and south-southeast winds of 5 to 10 mph, the weather agency forecast.

Sunday night should be partly cloudy, with a low of 44 degrees and mild winds. Expect temperatures to rise back to near 80 degrees Monday for Columbus Day, NWS said.

The warmer weather pattern is expected to continue through Friday night, then temperatures could drop into the high 30s Friday night into Saturday morning.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. West northwest wind around 5 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Southwest wind 10-15 mph.
