With the A's now gone, here's what's in store for the team and the Oakland Coliseum.

The venue continues to host professional sports, concerts and shows.

The African-American Sports and Entertainment Group is buying the Coliseum, Oakland Arena and the land in between.

The Oakland Roots Men's Soccer Club will play its home games at the Coliseum beginning in 2025.

The Roots sent a “love letter” to Oakland’s heartbroken fans, saying, “The Coliseum is Oakland’s home. This venue, its moments and its memories belong not to any team or organization, but to the people of Oakland and the incredible fans who have supported these teams over the years.

The Oakland Roots men's soccer team will play at the Coliseum.

As for the A's, the baseball team will play its next three seasons in Sacramento at Sutter Health Park, a minor league stadium where the Sacramento River Cats also play.

The A's will play their first game on March 31, 2025 against the Chicago Cubs. 81 games are scheduled to be played there in June and July, where the average daily maximum temperature is around 35 degrees. There are no day games for the A's this time of year.

Then the A's should move to Las Vegas.

The $1.5 billion, 33,000-seat stadium is being built along the Las Vegas Strip on the site of the Tropicana Hotel, which is scheduled to be demolished next month.

The future stadium is expected to be completed in 2028.
