Where to purchase merchandise and find rides for the Eras Tour in Indianapolis

Taylor Swift will take the stage in Indianapolis for the Eras Tour in a week. Are you ready for this?

Before the opening night of the Eras Tour downtown, Swifties can purchase merchandise, participate in downtown activities and enjoy a decorated Swift City.

Here you will find out everything you should know before the tour.

When will Eras Tour items be available?

Exclusive tour merchandise will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m

Merchandise stands will be set up in the Convention Center in Hall I directly in front of Lucas Oil Stadium. Fans can line up indoors to make their purchases at the following times:

  • Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m
  • Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m
  • Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
  • Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

If you don't have a concert ticket, you can buy merchandise on any of the four days.

Merchandise will also be available for sale on all levels of Lucas Oil Stadium on all three concert nights.

Eras Tour merchandise includes sweatshirts, t-shirts and exclusive city posters. Fans can check out merchandise options online before booths open.

When will Lucas Oil Stadium open?

According to the Lucas Oil Stadium website, the box office will open at 2:30 p.m. on the day of the concerts. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and concerts begin at 6:45 p.m.

Water bottles, including empty ones, are prohibited.

What bags can you take to Taylor Swift concerts?

Backpacks are prohibited, including transparent backpacks.

What transportation options are available after the concert?

After the concerts, which typically end after 11 p.m., expect heavy traffic and long waits for rides

For those staying downtown, the skywalks connect the convention center to many hotels.

Where can I find ride sharing?

There will be a rideshare pickup zone outside the north end of the stadium on South Street between Missouri and West Streets from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m

There will be a parent pick-up zone in a parking lot near Delaware and South streets between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m

What events are taking place downtown during Taylor Swift weekend?

Fans without tickets will get their money's worth with plenty of activities at more than 50 Eras Tour events outside the stadium.

The Indy Arts Council provides pop-up performances to 13 downtown locations, including SPARK on the Circle and Georgia Street.

Food trucks will be located throughout the city Friday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What decorations are there downtown for the Eras Tour?

Indianapolis has installed more than 30 Taylor Swift-inspired street signs, as well as a banner at the JW Marriott that towers over the city's west end.

The city invested “a healthy six-figure amount” in event decor downtown in advance of the tour, said Chris Gahl, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Visit Indy, at a media event Friday.

“It’s common for us as a city to design the downtown area in a meaningful way,” he said.

How many people will be taking part in the Eras Tour?

More than 200,000 people are expected to be in downtown Indianapolis during the three shows. Around 70,000 fans are expected every evening.

Thousands of Swifties are also expected to descend on Indianapolis without tickets, hoping to snag last-minute tickets or take part in the Eras Tour experience.

About 89% of ticket holders come from outside Indianapolis and hotels have been virtually sold out for weeks.

Indianapolis International Airport increased seating capacity on flights for the coming week and added several round-trip flights for Swifties. Delta seats alone saw a 30% increase in inbound seats compared to a typical November weekend, tourism officials said.

When do the concerts start?

The Eras Tour begins at 7 p.m. when opener Gracie Abrams takes the stage. Swift typically appears around 8 p.m. based on concert times in other cities.

Since it's a three-hour-plus show, the concerts usually end just after 11 p.m

Will the roof be open at Lucas Oil Stadium?

The roof will be closed for the concerts, Lucas Oil Stadium officials said.

Are last minute tickets available?

In most cities, Ticketmaster offers last-minute tickets, sometimes just 24 hours before the first concert.
