Fox explained their main goal is to reduce the cost burden on other fans attending the event (via PEOPLE). “I fought really, really, really hard for every single room and every single person, and let's be clear: I did it all at cost,” Fox clarified that she wasn't looking to get away with it rooms to benefit; Instead, she only asked for a small deposit, which will be refunded after the event.

Fox's initiative stems from her experience attending Swift's premiere in Phoenix, where she spent thousands on lodging and travel. To give fans a more affordable experience, she organized “Holiday House,” a Swift-inspired convention, during the tour stop. The event will take place October 24-28 and will feature a variety of Taylor-themed activities, including bracelet-making sessions and scavenger hunts.

When Fox noticed Swift's possible tour stop in New Orleans, she expected demand for hotel rooms to be high. She initially booked 20 rooms, but quickly expanded the number as interest increased, ultimately securing 191 rooms at the Holiday Inn. “I live in New Orleans and could have easily stayed at home, but I wanted to immerse myself in the experience,” Fox added, explaining why she wanted to give fans an affordable yet memorable stay.

By organizing, Fox was not only able to reduce accommodation costs, but also build a community among Swift fans. “Before this, I literally only knew one other Swiftie in New Orleans. Now I probably have 40 really, really dear friends,” she noted.
