Wisconsin Football vs Rutgers result, live game updates today, schedule

play

The Wisconsin football team will look to make it two wins in a row when it plays Rutgers on Saturday at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The Badgers are 3-2 and are coming off a comfortable win over Purdue, while the Scarlet Knights (4-1) return home after their first loss of the season.

Can Braedyn Locke, Trech Kekahuna and Tawee Walker repeat their performances from last week against a strong Rutgers defense? And can the Badgers defense, which has struggled against the run this season, find a way to slow Kyle Monangai and a Rutgers offense that is among the Big Ten's best?

I will be reporting live during the game. Find scoring updates, highlights and analysis below.

This is Wisconsin's third game ever at Rutgers. It won both of its previous games in Piscataway (52-3 in 2021 and 37-0 in 2014).

Things likely won't be so easy for the Badgers in 2024. In fact, Wisconsin is the underdog for the first time in the six-game series. Rutgers (4-1) is off to a solid start to the season, picking up a win over last year's runner-up Washington. They are a solid defensive team and have a tremendous running attack on offense led by Kyle Monangai.

Aside from last week when Wisconsin steamrolled Purdue, Wisconsin's offense has struggled for much of this season.
